Don't let the mountain calm fool you — I've got a rock heart that beats loud. My rock songs are where I get to be raw, reverent, grounded, and unbound all at once. They're for the seekers, the believers, the ones who find church in unexpected places.

Rock is where I get to tell the truth loud. Some prayers are whispered in church. Some prayers are sung with drums, electric guitar, trombone, cowbell, and a bare foot stomping on mountain ground. My rock songs live there — playful, classic, female vocals, but with a poet's heart underneath.

This is my Hollywood redemption story that didn't go the way you think. Two people with a lifetime of regrets and things better left unsaid walk into a church to find the good word and find each other instead. Although we didn't find God, we found each other and that was enough to make a winning team — he planned, I schemed and we made it... big. Richer than we ever been, consciences clear no need to pretend, living life so high on the hog, no longer just looking through the catalog for things neither of us could afford. Avoiding the law and the man with the badge. A hand and a glove, two peas in a pod. Yes, we owe it all to that little church out in Hollywood for bringing us nothing but good. Playful, party, trombone-kick rock — it's Bonnie & Clyde meets testimony service, with a wink.

The wings of love borne angels from demons.

My most poetic rock song. Falling in love is a magical thing — you lose your mind and your heart takes wings, breath taken away but you don't even care. You're tumbling down swiftly but you don't care at all because the descent is the most exciting time of your life. The innocence of infancy holds hearts in its arms and cherishes dreams in its bosom. The wisdom of elderly words can absolve those who heed, but then they would be spared from experiencing the torment of Borne Love — the falling angel, face glowing, wings tucked, eyelids closed, peacefully smiling, swiftly falling, falling, falling, in love. It can last forever or just a bittersweet time, but not to experience it would be such a crime. You should not leave these realms that confine you today without feeling the lust and love given you to take away. For lovers only, from head to toes.

Feel the earth neath brown bare feet / The way to ground yourself and see / The difference between important things and the lasting joy they bring.

My Colorado mountain medicine song. Earthing my way along, keeping things that belong, selectively collecting only things worth recollecting. When life gets loud and the throng pulls you away from happiness headed your way, take a step on back for clarity you lack. Get back to the path and stay by earthing it, every little bit of what nature offers you — happiness through and through of the lasting kind, clean soul and focused mind, uncluttered by things momentary happiness seems to bring. And the shallow, hollow pleasures too many keep as cherished treasures. When you get lost, even a bit, try earthing it. Classic rock barefoot anthem for anyone who needs to shut out endless chatter and find what truly matters.

Remember to breathe / Remember to exhale / That's right, let it out / Never fail.

This is my survival song. Sometimes you have to chase echoes in the rain if it makes you forget about your pain. Remember to hold on to what brings you joy when silence's name again is yours and no longer a decoy. For the days filled with sorrow and much regret, days most served to simply forget, when bottom of barrel is all you can see and echoing voices sing your name, calling you out and calling you away from living that brings you to happier day. It's fine to journey to places pretend — brief reprieve will give you strength to tackle troubles long in length with renewed vision and precise precision, whittling them down to no more than bump in road. Stand your ground and hold the line. Breathe. Exhale. Hold joy. Classic rock for the quiet after the storm.

Endless bounds and no constraints / The love a heart can hold remains.

Heart bound you will remain, headed for the ride, love will take you on, all fears are set aside. For this journey proves to be an epic one. Endless like dawning of bright and lovely day, not like slice of life one person takes away. Like warmth of sunshine rays or icy cold like winter days. It happens in moment, taken by surprise, never plays out as one would surmise. It holds no rules and knows no bounds, shocks senses and continues to astound. Players in love game happen to fall into snare that promises to enthrall. May last fleeting moments or lifetime through, promises to be greatest feeling life ever knew. Delay, never betray, stay, don't stray way. Heart bound.
